Documentation and labeling
We compare the system and existing documentation and take into account earlier inspection records during preparation.
Peter Riedel GmbH inspects launch devices on site.
Depending on the hill, the winch performs tasks such as preparation technique or a cover. For the inspection we therefore consider design, integration, rope guidance, control and actual use.
On-site we inspect the areas set for the specific installation and document the result in writing. The basis for this includes, among others, manufacturer documents, risk assessment, and the defined target condition of the working equipment.
The inspection relates to the winch and its associated areas. The acceptance of the entire ski jump as well as maintenance or repair remain separate tasks.
We categorize winches, usage, inspection trigger, and the areas on site that belong to the specific winch system.
We review the existing documents and jointly clarify which areas must be accessible and who operates the system.
On site we carry out the prescribed order, visibility and function checks as well as the inspections that belong to the respective installation.
Findings and test results are recorded in writing. From this, it can be inferred whether further action is required for the facility.
We compare the system and existing documentation and take into account earlier inspection records during preparation.
We inspect accessible load-bearing parts, connections, drive, and cable drum.
We check operation, switch functions and existing safety devices.
Cable condition, guidance, and accessible components are checked according to usage, design, and the established criteria.
Test record
Type, scope and result of the inspection are documented.
Findings
If defects or deviations are found, we record them in the test protocol and discuss what follows for the installation.
Cost factors
Costs depend on the number and type of hoists, location, accessibility, documentation, test scope, and scheduling.
When action is required
If the inspection reveals a need for action, we explain the findings and discuss the further procedure with you. Maintenance or repair can then be planned to suit the system.
Yes. The test can be performed on the built-in rope winch system if documents, access, operation, and the required operating window are coordinated in advance.
Operational and maintenance instructions, device and location details, and existing inspection records are helpful.
The inspection interval is determined by risk assessment, operating conditions, manufacturer specifications and applicable regulations.
The type, scope and result of the inspection, as well as any identified defects or deviations, are documented.
We document the findings and explain what they mean for the facility. Necessary maintenance or repair can then be planned to fit the winch system.
Please provide location, function of the winch, reason for the test, and the desired period. We will then arrange documents, access, and the appointment with you.
