From the carpenter to ski jumping technique

Peter Riedel learned carpentry and studied structural engineering. In 2003 he developed technical solutions for year-round operation of a ski tunnel feasibility study in Oberhof, and a year later presented the FIS with a combined summer and winter start track. This led to MASTERTRACK. Today, the range of services includes start track systems, steel and metal construction, mobile jump ramps and alpine skiing, in addition to their operation.

Peter Riedel as project partner

Peter Riedel links winter sports, civil engineering, and metal construction with the practice of international hill projects. For operators, this means coordinating the entire facility: Which track fits usage, which steel parts does the hill need, how does assembly proceed, and what must be maintained or inspected later?
