Bells in the Old School

Since October 2023, a part of Gerd Schlesinger's private collection has its own home in Tellerhäuser.

Bells made of steel, brass, bronze, and cast iron are in the rooms of the Old School. Small pieces from all over the world meet there with decommissioned church bells and a historic wooden bell frame.

The school building and its bell tower are part of the history of the place themselves. At around 1,000 meters above sea level, the exhibition offers a close look at forms, materials and sounds that are rarely seen together.
