Porcelain in summer, ice in winter

The result is constant approach ratios, independent of temperature, precipitation or other weather influences.

Our high-end ramp system has stood for years for state-of-the-art, FIS-compliant ramp technology and is used internationally at numerous ski jumping facilities. MASTERTRACK was developed to provide athletes with the best possible take-off quality under all conditions.

The combined porcelain-and-ice ramp system enables year-round operation at the highest level: in summer, high-quality porcelain knobs ensure optimal glide properties, while in winter a cooled ice block with precisely milled structure creates perfect conditions.

From the first to the last jumper, identical conditions and fair competition rules prevail.

MASTERTRACK meets the highest international requirements and is used at some of the most renowned ski jumping venues in the world. Installations like Bergisel in Innsbruck, the World Cup venues in Trondheim, or the Kulm ski flying hill rely on our technology.

Innovative technology for the highest standards

The core of the system is the intelligent interaction of state-of-the-art cooling technology, winch and milling technology, and decades of experience in ramp construction. The innovative cooling system ensures a uniform temperature of the ice block.

Ice block and milling machine

The ice block is a total of 7 cm thick, the grooves are milled into it. This ensures consistently excellent gliding properties over the entire approach run.

All from a single source

From the initial idea to the finished commissioning we accompany every project personally. Planning, construction, production and installation take place completely from a single source.

  1. Planning and construction

This creates perfectly coordinated systems in which every detail interlocks and the highest quality is ensured. The ramp cooling is individually tailored to the respective ramp facility already in the planning phase.

  2. Cooling technology

A key component of the MASTERTRACK system is the cooling technology. From concept through laying of cooling lines and construction of the cooling system to commissioning and acceptance, we handle all services.

  3. Cooling and track coordination

Only when cooling technology and launch track are perfectly synchronized can consistently uniform ice temperatures and flawless sliding properties be ensured, regardless of ambient temperatures and weather conditions.

  1. Steel construction

We also supply the complete steel construction around the take-off track if desired. Whether substructures, stair systems, gate systems, platforms, railings or customized special constructions: all steel components are precisely tailored to the requirements of the respective hill.

  2. Assembly and commissioning

This creates functional, durable, and safe installations that withstand the high demands of training and competition operations over the long term.

Frequently asked questions about MASTERTRACK ski jump ramp

For which ramps is MASTERTRACK suitable?

MASTERTRACK is suitable for large and demanding ski jumping facilities where constant approach quality, summer and winter operation, and high demands for training and competition are important.

How does MASTERTRACK differ from CLUBTRACK?

MASTERTRACK combines porcelain track and cooled ice track for large facilities. CLUBTRACK is based on the core concept of MASTERTRACK, but targets smaller ramps, clubs, and youth work.

Why does MASTERTRACK need cooling?

The cooling keeps the ice block uniformly tempered in winter. This allows the ice track to be prepared and provides stable gliding properties over the approach run.

What role does steel construction play in MASTERTRACK?

The steel construction carries the approach track and integrates stair systems, gate systems, platforms, railings and special constructions. It is tuned to the requirements of the respective hill.

How does a MASTERTRACK project start?

At the beginning there is the technical clarification of the hill: existing or new build, desired use, cooling requirement, steel construction, installation conditions, commissioning and acceptance.
