CLUBTRACK as a ski jump approach lane for clubs

CLUBTRACK is our ski-jump approach track for clubs. In the project we coordinate the execution with the jump type and planned operation.

Before production we check the existing substructure. Then we specify the technical implementation and the scope of delivery.

We clarify the connections between substructure and track and coordinate responsibilities with the association, the municipality, and the project management.

When renewing a ramp we incorporate the existing construction. For a new build we clarify on-site work early. After technical coordination we create the offer and plan the implementation.

Reasons for a new club track

Athlete in training on a CLUBTRACK start lane

Secure youth training

Young jumpers gradually switch to larger hill sizes. The club's hill stock may lack a suitable intermediate size. A new track adds this training level at its own site.

Renew old track

Aging and weathering put stress on the existing construction. Defects in the track or substructure may require renewal. We include the existing structure in the planning.

Failure and replacement remedy

A damaged launch track can stop the operation of a ski jump. During this time, training gaps and trips to alternative facilities occur. After replacement, the club can resume training at its own location.

Prepare competition dates

A planned competition requires a fixed date. By then, the work on the track and the contractual works must be completed.

Who sits at the table for the club project

  • Association and Coach

The club knows the condition of the hill and the needs in training operations. Coaches bring the requirements from youth work and competition. Board or project management coordinate decisions, budgets and timelines.

  • Municipality and owner

The municipality or owner decides on structural measures for the facility. There, financing and site work are clarified. Public projects may also involve funding bodies.

  • Peter Riedel GmbH and specialist departments

We plan and manufacture the approach track. With the project management we determine substructure, connections and scope of delivery. The association or ramp inspector evaluates the concrete installation according to their specifications.

Clarify foundation and substructure

The club provides the foundation. Before fabrication we check which substructure exists and how the track will be attached. Connections are defined for the specific project.

Build track on the existing base

CLUBTRACK has no own height equalization. The included wooden boards are fastened to the prepared base. The substructure determines the position of the track. We therefore resolve unevenness and dimensional deviations before assembly.

Set own contribution in advance

The club can take over preparatory work. We agree the scope before the project begins. We undertake the majority of the technical implementation. For commissioning and acceptance we involve the responsible specialists.

Frequently asked questions about ski jump approach tracks for clubs

Does CLUBTRACK fit with our existing substructure?

CLUBTRACK can be built on bases made of concrete, steel or wood. We check the condition, dimensions and connections of the existing construction before manufacture.

What foundation must the club provide?

We clarify in advance which connections are required and which dimensions the substructure must meet. Both are fixed for the concrete project; there is no standard dimension.

Which tasks can club members perform themselves?

Preparatory work can be carried out by club members; we agree on the scope before the project begins.

What does a ski jumping launch track for clubs cost?

We calculate each track for the specific project. Ramp size and starting length determine the material scope. Substructure and delivery scope are also included in the offer.

What to consider for training, competition, and hill certificate?

An approach track does not automatically make the ramp competition-ready. In training, the operator is responsible for the condition of the facility. Homologation and ramp certificate refer to the entire ramp.
