From February 28 to March 2, 2020, the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships will set up camp in the tranquil spa town of Oberwiesenthal! So just under three weeks remain until the Nordic stars of tomorrow showcase their performances on the Fichtelberg.
The work is already in full swing and the World Championship feeling is already there and detectable here and there. And where wood is cut, chips fly! Recently we have faced some organizational challenges and coordination difficulties with the organizer. Admittedly, it wasn't easy to find a common ground with all parties involved. Despite all the difficulties, we have a common goal—and problems are there to be solved together. This is what Erzgebirger can do!!
Therefore we are now all the more pleased to be part of this world championship! During the competitions, Peter Riedel GmbH is responsible for the service and maintenance of the slope. In addition to last year's Nordic World Ski Championship in Seefeld, it is the second time in the company's history that Peter Riedel GmbH is traveling “world champion” style. Together with WSC Oberwiesenthal and the city, we will now do everything possible to make the competition venues perfectly prepared and present ourselves internationally as a sympathetic host! Together for a successful Junior World Championship on the Fichtelberg!
