We’re done!

With the cancellation of the upcoming ski jumping competitions we also unfortunately have to end the season 19/20 earlier than planned. We are currently on the way home from Norway, which is not easy in the current situation. From tomorrow no ship will sail between Norway and Germany due to the coronavirus. Truly in the last second we managed to reach the ferry from Oslo to Kiel, not least thanks to the tireless efforts of my prudent employee. After the announcement of the cancellation yesterday noon, she set all levers in motion to bring our team home quickly and safely. A big thank you is due to her - as well as to my team for the great work they do all year!

I would also like to say THANK YOU to all partners, friends and companions of Peter Riedel Sports Technology GmbH for the trust and cooperation! We are already looking forward to the next exciting projects! As sad and tragic as the early end of this season is, health certainly comes first. I hope that we can all contribute to slowing the spread of the coronavirus in this way.

Last but not least - heartfelt congratulations to Stefan Kraft on winning the overall World Cup! At the start of the season my gut feeling told me that he is currently the best and most consistent jumper in the world. Which is why I even made a bet at the Forum Nordicum. To my betting friends from the Forum Nordicum - gambling debts are honor debts :-D Thank you for that - the winnings will of course be donated entirely to a good cause.

I wish you, besides a nice start to spring, above all one thing - good health! Take care of yourselves.

Your Peter Riedel
