Guess who visited us yesterday? We were in the middle of loading four trucks when—of course announced—the customs officers stood at our yard. Our journey this time takes us across Europe, so customs rules must be followed meticulously. Just under four tons of material and one ton of tools set off for Turkey towards Erzurum after successful inspection and documentation.

Not the typical place to ski jump, some of you might think. Yet the eastern Anatolian city is not unknown in ski jumping circles. In 2019 it was the venue for the European Youth Olympic Festival EYOF, and later that same year a landslide destroyed the jump facilities. What exactly is being done to restore this great sports venue will be told to you in a few days… stay tuned!
