What a coincidence

What a coincidence, the world is small! I’m strolling through the lobby of Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotels, and who do I run into?

Markus Wasmeier, Olympic champion and world champion in Super-G and slalom!

He, on his way to Kvitfjell for the Alpine Ski World Cup, I’m on business for the RAW AIR Tournament. The time was unfortunately far too short, but we still found a few minutes to reminisce about the past. Markus also knows my father Eberhard well, and we met back in the day at the World Championships in Garmisch and Adelboden. Soon the old stories were dug up and past successes philosophized about.

Thanks Markus for this pleasant meeting! The next visit, and longer, is already in planning!
