Welcome to Oslo!

The view from the historic Holmenkollen over Oslo is unique. Each time it fills me with great joy to let my gaze sweep from the jump into the hill and the city. It feels so good to be back at Holmenkollen after two years!

Even though our deployment was a bit stressful at the outset. As soon as we arrived, we had to replace the defective motor of the milling machine and broken track elements. The challenge was that the ice had already formed and the course was practically ready for use. So we had no choice but to perform the repair despite the ice, something we have never done before. Every first time has its moments, and it worked wonderfully. Now we’re looking forward to a great Holmenkollen Ski Festival in perfect weather!
