RASCHAU/Trondheim, 10.07.2014 – Even Roar “Master of the Track” Karsvik from the Trondheim municipality is enthusiastic about the new porcelain studs from Peter Riedel’s company, which have been installed in recent weeks on the HS 140 hill in Trondheim: “This keeps our facility, which we built in 2007, one of the most modern in the world,” the athletes themselves are also highly satisfied: “It’s really fun to come in here!” they said in unison.

Recently, the positive feedback was received by Managing Director Peter Riedel through his hill technicians, who observed the first jumps after handover on the further improved track. In light tailwind and 22 degrees Celsius, around 10 athletes, including athletes from Trondheim and those who had traveled from Lillehammer, tested the new summer track with special porcelain on the surface. “The new material enables an absolutely uniform acceleration on the approach,” explains Riedel the advantages of the studs, whose development he has driven mainly himself. “In the radius, the so-called ‘pushing’ feeling that the jumper tilts forward is eliminated. A higher approach speed is also possible.” The last hill was converted from plastic studs to porcelain with Trondheim, the managing director explained.

For me, the athletes are always at the center of my efforts – I will not stop until I find even better solutions for practicing his sport for them," stated Peter Riedel.
