“We already started producing artificial snow at the end of December, because natural snow unfortunately did not appear. In total, 40 helpers were on site for days to spread the snow and build the slopes. Everything went smoothly, and yesterday's competition was really cool! The goal of the event was to inspire children early on to take up ski jumping and to strengthen the ski jumping Nachwuchs in Vorarlberg. We definitely succeeded; the turnout was great. Especially the floodlights were very well received by spectators and children, even though organizing it was a challenge. A big thanks goes to the sponsors as well as the voluntary helpers from the clubs SC Egg and Hasar Pub, without whose help the event would not have been possible,”" Balthasar Schneider.
For Peter Riedel the Nachwuchsspringen (youth jumping) was again a good opportunity to commit to youth development. "The Nachwuchs is the future of ski jumping, and this is particularly close to my heart. It is an honor for me to support the necessary structure that the children need on their way up. It was nice to see with what great joy and enthusiasm the children perform the sport," said Peter Riedel.
