Summer GP to become a yearly theme at Riedel

Oberwiesenthal Nordic Combined event is advertised in Raschau

 RASCHAU, June 12, 2014 – When you enter the Ore Mountains, you should get an idea of what goes on there. And so, for a short time now a 25-square-meter poster has been displayed at the “Gate of the Ore Mountains” in Raschau-Markersbach, pointing to the Summer Grand Prix of Nordic Combined on August 23 and 24, 2014.

The 5 x 5 meter banner hangs on a facade of the Peter Riedel GmbH factory building on Peace Street near the B101 and has a permanent character. After this year’s Grand Prix the date will be removed and replaced at the next occasion with that of 2015.

“Oberwiesenthal and Nordic Combined have our particular attention,” comments Peter Riedel on this event- and sport-supporting initiative. “A year ago we restored the Oberwiesenthal jump. In Chaux-Neuve or Trondheim, in the World Cup of the Nordic Combined, it is approached on a Riedel track. And with some superstars of the scene, such as Eric Frenzel or Jason Lamy-Chappuis, I maintain very good personal contacts.”

Moreover! The “Peter Riedel Sports Technology” stands again as sponsor for the event this summer, as in the previous year. Because of all these factors it is obvious that Peter Riedel also points to this major event at his company building. People should know where to turn in the Ore Mountains toward the end of August!
