Peter Riedel
Son of the former Adelboden winner wishes Neureuther all the best
In the previous year, Felix Neureuther equaled the old record of Eberhard Riedel in Adelboden. Until Neureuther's success, it was the Alpine starter from the DDR from Oberwiesenthal who could show the only German victory in Adelboden for 53 years and documented that experience in the 2013 book "Spuren des Erfolgs".

As part of the Four Hills Tournament in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, there came a special meeting when Peter Riedel, on behalf of his father, could inform Neureuther that he "is a wild dog!"
The two members of Skiclub Partenkirchen e.V. used the time not only to discuss sport history but also technically. Deutschlands fastest alpine skier wanted to know how he could become even faster. Especially through the scientific analysis values that Peter Riedel GmbH has been collecting with their ice spur, Riedel's experiences were of interest to Neureuther.
"We made the commemorative photo especially for my father at home in Oberwiesenthal," says Peter Riedel. "It was a very nice gathering and I wish Felix all the best for the new attempt in Adelboden this weekend!"
