After the successful premiere in October 2016 with over 50,000 visitors, the M-net Munich Outdoor Sports Festival is entering its second round. This coming Sunday, October 15, 2017, the Munich Olympic Park will again transform from 10 am to 5 pm into a large outdoor sports arena. Also this year: the mobile K4 jump hill from Peter Riedel GmbH. In collaboration with the Bavarian Ski Association, the Erzgebirge-based track initiator offers ski jump fans and young athletes the chance to try ski jumping themselves.
“The response last year was simply fantastic. With the prettiest autumn weather, 485 children jumped off our mobile K4 jump and were not deterred by longer waiting times. You couldn't advertise Nordic skiing better, and that's why we are very happy to participate again this year,” explains Peter Riedel.
The mobile K4 jump hill is located in the center of the action at Coubertinplatz. The snow will be prepared again from the neighboring ice hockey hall. Peter Riedel and his entire team are really looking forward to the event.
Olympic Park Munich provides the ideal backdrop to present all areas of the outdoors sport topic – mountain sports, water sports, trend and action sports. Whether paragliding from Olympiaberg, stand-up paddling on the Olympiapark Lake, bouldering, or ski jumping – this year too, sports fans can try over 50 different outdoor activities. Clubs, associations, and sports institutions offer participation programs, demonstrations, and infotainment to promote the diversity of their sports together. Admission is free!
