Ski jumping has a season all year round: Summer Grand in Nizhny Tagil, Kids’ Four Hills Tour in Reit im Winkel
RASCHAU/NISCHNY TAGIL/REIT IM WINKL, September 13, 2013 – From the smallest to the biggest, ski jumpers are in action this weekend.
RASCHAU/NISCHNY TAGIL/REIT IM WINKL, September 13, 2013 – From the smallest to the biggest, ski jumpers are in action this weekend. In Nischny Tagil, the FIS Summer Grand Prix continues, and Peter Riedel ponders the past months and years. “It was a real big challenge to relocate the landing areas in Russia, but we managed it under adverse weather conditions. Misunderstandings with our business partners were all cleared up, and I’m glad that after the Continental Cup in March the Summer Grand Prix will also be held there. I wish all participants good, exciting and safe competitions!”
But the owner of Peter Riedel GmbH is also thinking about the competition in Reit im Winkl. In Bavaria, the annual Children’s Four Hills Tournament continues with the third event on Saturday. In the club rankings, surprisingly, the Vienna Eagles lead – a club that has to travel over an hour to the hill for training. “This example shows what club life, good structures, and dedicated staff can achieve,” says Riedel. His company, along with REHAU, is one of the sponsors of the event. “If we don’t keep an eye on the Nachwuchs, the top stars will run out someday!”
And that’s why Reit im Winkl and Nizhny Tagil are much closer than you think!
