MUNICH – The first Outdoor Sport Festival in Munich held on Sunday was a complete success for Nordic skiing. Together with the Bavarian SC Auerbach, Peter Riedel GmbH gave enthusiastic Nachwuchs the chance to experience ski jumping live.

Under the most beautiful autumn weather, 485 children finally jumped off the mobile K4 jump. The rush at times was large, but even waits of up to 15 minutes could not deter the kids. The best part: although winter at 16°C still seemed far away, the kids could still jump on snow: the crash ice from the neighboring ice rink provided the perfect base for snow fun. On the equipment that on Saturday still hosted professional ice hockey players from ERC Ingolstadt and EHC Red Bull München, the Nachwuchsadler could now let loose. Thanks to the organizers in Berchtesgaden, extra jumping skis could also be provided very simply – a perfectly round thing.

“The collaboration with the Bavarian Ski Association and SC Auerbach was so great that we decided on the spot to do even more for the Nachwuchs. The K4 jump is now set to stand in Auerbach for the next six months to inspire even more young jumpers for the small hill,” says Peter Riedel about the weekend’s result.
