Our next project led us this week to the beautiful Black Forest. When you come to the quiet town of Baiersbronn, you initially have no idea what a great jump complex is here. With a total of five ramps from 7 to 85 meters KP, the arena is impressive even without a large hill. No wonder talent from the region keeps emerging, including Manuel Faisst and Svenja Würth.

The hill facility is only jumpable in winter, and to this day preparing it has been anything but easy. One must hope Frau Holle is kind and sends plenty of snow from above. In addition, low temperatures, a portion of white gold from the cannon, and a few strong men, and you have all the ingredients for theoretically flawless jump operations. Kidding aside, it is a huge effort to make the hills jump-ready. In addition to the takeoff slope, which consumes many cubic meters of snow, comes the approach. And that, to prepare, is truly challenging, as it consisted entirely of snow. After everything was prepared, it happened many times that rain came and everything was ruined again.

At least this one critical point is now significantly defused. When the local club contacted me about a new track for the K60 hill, it put a smile on my face. Not only is Baiersbronn a powerhouse in youth excellence. No, it is also our second hill complex that we are allowed to equip in the beautiful Black Forest.

So we arrived at the beginning of this week and were not little impressed by the great preliminary work the club had already done. The old substructure was completely removed and replaced with a new one. The profile is nearly perfect, ideal conditions to lay our world-famous Clubtrack track on the second-largest hill. After several days of construction and numerous screws and track modules, we packed up today and handed the finished track to the host.

With the new Clubtrack track you no longer need snow for the run-in. From now on, you drive year-round on the highest quality ceramic studs, which nearly eliminates the need to prepare the run-in. The days are over when approaching rain made the host's pulse race.

You can see here well what is possible when clubs show strong will to change and pool their forces. The facility is to be ready to jump by December, and I am very curious what the athletes will say about our new Clubtrack track. For our part, we say THANK YOU for the trust and wish you lots of fun with the new Clubtrack track.
