Raschau/Zao 14.01.2013 In just one year, the Track in Track system from Peter Riedel GmbH has managed to establish itself in an existing market and present itself as the most professional and efficient system. As the first system from Peter Riedel GmbH to unite a ski jump track for summer and winter in a single launching channel, the Track in Track system stands out with high economic efficiency. A fact that is becoming increasingly important for organizers, because hosting a ski jumping event not only involves high logistical effort but also places enormous financial strain. It is therefore understandable that organizers will in the future pay even closer attention to their operating costs.

Its FIS World Premiere is celebrated by the track in track system, which has also been implemented in Tschagguns, Austria, this weekend at the women’s World Cup in Zao. “Having established ourselves in the market after only one year of development and now approaching our FIS debut makes me incredibly proud,” says Peter Riedel, managing director of Peter Riedel GmbH. “It was a tremendous challenge to accomplish all this in such a short time, so I can only thank our entire team, partners, and hill operators who not only believe in our system but also help us continuously improve!”

Currently, Peter Riedel GmbH is working with Speed Race in Ramsau on a development of the system family. In a single module, there are three launch tracks, making implementation for organizers even more economical and interesting.

For the time being, the officials will watch with anticipation towards Zao, where the track-in-track system will first prove itself in the FIS circus this weekend. The Peter Riedel GmbH has already received initial praise from FIS man Torgeir Nordby, who was able to personally inspect the track during the official handover last week and has previously praised the developers for this track: “This is the best startup system I’ve seen lately!”

Whether training on the launch track also brings competition advantages on other hills will be best answered by Japan’s leading jumper Sara Takanashi during the Olympic Games in Sochi. The athlete will surely use the track in the coming weeks for intensive preparation for her Olympic debut in Russia. The officials of the Japanese Ski Federation have already shown great enthusiasm for the new hill.
