RASCHAU – While the last projects carried the Peter Riedel GmbH team across Europe, the expert for ski jumping hill equipment is now looking forward to a project in the homeland: Only seven and a half kilometers from the company headquarters in Raschau, today in Saxony's Scheibenberg, the first hammer blow was struck on the under-construction K30 hill. Together with Scheibenberg’s first mayor Michael Staib and the club chairman Bernd Fischer, managing director Peter Riedel thus inaugurated the renovation of the large Scheibenberg hill.
The 1972-built K30 is operated by SSV 1846 Scheibenberg e.V., which with its successful club work significantly contributes to talent development in Saxony.
The hill was last rebuilt in 1999; now modernization is urgently needed. “For us it is an honor to help here as a local company. Scheibenberg is an important training site in Saxony, and we are glad that with the renewal of the hill we can ensure that this remains the case in the future,” says Peter Riedel.
