R meets R – Recknagel meets Riedel!

We also met one of the most successful German ski jumpers of all time in Val di Fiemme! Helmut Recknagel (76), Olympic champion 1960, world champion 1960 and 1962, did not miss the competitions in Italy. He was fascinated by the innovations being pushed forward in the area of ski jumping take-off toe systems at Peter Riedel, and he sent best regards to his friend Eberhard Riedel, with whom he competed in 1960 in Squaw Valley under the Five Rings. "Best wishes retroactively on your 75th birthday!"
