Peter Riedel GmbH supports the Saxon Ski Association in optimal Olympic preparation
In order for Saxon athletes to have optimal conditions before the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, the starting track of the K95 jump at Oberwiesenthal will be re-frayed at the beginning of the week. And not on any track, but on the surface structures that athletes will also encounter on the Olympic jumps in Russia.
This is how the Saxon Ski Association intends to ensure that the Saxon Olympic squad, with ski jumping stars Richard Freitag and Ulrike Gräßler and the Nordic combined athletes Eric Frenzel and Björn Kircheisen, gets the best possible preparation for the Olympics.
The Peter Riedel GmbH company is happy to support this project and stands by the Saxony Ski Association with a free retrofit of the milling machine and the reassembly of the starting track. 'We would be thrilled to contribute a part to the Saxon successes at the Olympics. So this is, of course, a matter of honor for us,' says Managing Director Peter Riedel. 'I hope we can together contribute a small building block to the great puzzle of our athletes’ sporting success,' agrees Richard Schütze, DSV National Training Center Director Saxony.
