Peter Riedel GmbH enters elite sports as a sponsor

After the company has already supported Nachwuchs in winter sports in recent years, Peter Riedel GmbH from the Erzgebirge now expands its activities as a sports sponsor to elite sports. From mid-August, the track-spur maker will sponsor Austrian Nordic combined Willi Denifl.

“Sport is great fun, but without sponsors I couldn't do it,” says the 2003 World Champion, who finished last season ninth in the overall World Cup. “I’ve known Peter for a long time; his traces are by far the best, and since they are on so many jumps we’ve kept crossing paths and had a lot of fun. That we are now also working together professionally just fits!”

To be optimally prepared for the Olympic winter, Denifl is currently skipping summer competitions and focusing entirely on winter preparation. “We are really curious to see in what form he will present himself in winter and we are happy to help ease his path a little,” says CEO Peter Riedel about his company’s sponsorship involvement.
