PARTENKIRCHEN 19.10.2014 - About 80 ski jumping technical delegates of the International Ski Federation gathered this weekend in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a training session. One of the important program points was among other things the presentation of the trace systems and the working methods of Peter Riedel GmbH.

Managing Director Peter Riedel himself was on site at Partenkirchen’s Olympic Hill to demonstrate live to the TDs on the hill the preparation of the Partenkirchen approach track with ice. Despite spring-like temperatures of 15C, the preparation of the track posed no problems - the track was completely finished and ready to use within two days. After laying down the ice layers, the track could be milled on Sunday morning, just in time before the first teams this week begin training on the Olympic Hill.

Czechia, Poland, and also the national team of the DSV have already registered and will carry out the first training sessions in Partenkirchen later this week.

The Technical Delegates will have already departed again. After an intensive discussion about track preparation, the informative Saturday evening ended with lively discussions between Peter Riedel and the individual TDs at the bratwurst grill. A thoroughly interesting evening, which also provided Peter Riedel GmbH with insightful feedback.
