RASCHAU – After Peter Riedel GmbH from Raschau/Erz. was occupied at the beginning of December with the handover of three new jump systems in Sapporo and Zao, and now, in time for Christmas, all ongoing projects in Japan as well as in Ramsau, Tschagguns and Oberwiesenthal are largely completed, the managing director Peter Riedel looks positively to the next year 2014.
For the diploma engineer, the coming year is mainly about further development of the already highly modern ski-jump start-spur systems. 'We naturally want to keep evolving and do not want to stay at the current level. There is always something to improve, and that is exactly what our focus will be in the coming year. We will engage intensively in research and development work and by the end of the 2014 winter season have developed further improvements in the area of ice processing. In addition, we will test new starting gate systems and thus hope to be able to make modifications to the start-spur systems at the beginning of the 2014/2015 season – with the developed improvements.'
However, for the Erzgebirge-based company, it is not only about a technical improvement of the systems; the economic factor should not be neglected either. Peter Riedel GmbH is working concurrently on further reducing operating costs to achieve even better cost-effectiveness for those responsible on site and higher energy efficiency in operating the cooling systems.
We are really looking forward to the coming year and hope to make our systems even more attractive. Overall, the year 2013 with eight projects worldwide had already been a very good year for us and our partner REHAU, so I would like to especially thank all employees and contractors who made this year possible. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a good start into the Olympic year 2014! – Peter Riedel.
