RASCHAU/PARTENKIRCHEN, June 26, 2013 – One of Peter Riedel GmbH's flagship projects, the Olympic Jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, will continue to be equipped with the most innovative technologies from the Erzgebirge-based company. While the Bavarians were among the first to install the Double-Track Lane – better known as the “Riedel Lane” – they also did not hesitate to subsequently install the currently most modern ice machine, order special ice blades for better snow structuring, or cause a stir with Data-Track – the exclusive measurement system from Riedel – at last New Year's jump.
“I am especially pleased that our latest studded series is now being installed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen,” says company owner Peter Riedel. They consist of porcelain – “a whole series of field tests has shown that this is the most tireless material. It’s wonderful that this technology is now also coming into play at the Olympic Jump!” It is clear that the jump operators will thus make their facility even more attractive for summer training. As every year, the Olympic Jump will in the coming weeks and months be visited by athletes from many nations for training purposes.
Also excited about another development in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is Riedel, even though it does not affect him directly – at least for the time being. “There will be a single point of contact for all activities at this facility installed. This is important to prevent overlaps between training and event operations.”
Mr. Lorenz Setzpfand is thus one of the most important men in the organization of the market Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and you can reach him at: Tel. +49 172 7091080, Email: sport@gapa.de. An appointment, however, would probably be in vain: the date is January 1st. This date has already been booked for years.
