RASCHAU/PRAG – The Winter Olympics 2014 are starting these days in the Russian Sochi – and Olympic fever is spreading to our regions as well. If you don’t want to sit in front of your home TV alone but want to experience real winter sports atmosphere, you should visit the Olympic Festival “SOCHI – LETNÁ” in Prague. The event, staged by the Czech Olympic team, combines live broadcasts from Sochi with its own Olympic activities. Laser biathlon, hockey and curling are part of the standard program; new is that young sports enthusiasts can also try ski jumping. Peter Riedel GmbH from the Ore Mountains will be guest in Prague on February 11 and 12, 2014 – it will be the first international trip for the small mobile K4 hill.

 

In a fascinating snow park in the heart of Prague, the young athletes can imitate the big ones from Russia on these two days. “We are very much looking forward to this event. It is a great opportunity to reach young talents in such an Olympic atmosphere and perhaps also inspire them for ski jumping,” says Peter Riedel, managing director of Peter Riedel GmbH. On the two days, a three-member supervisory team from Raschau will be on site to take care of the hill and the little ski jumpers.
