Hinzenbach, June 20, 2013 – The training course for the Austrian ski jumpers, which is drawing to a close in Hinzenbach, Upper Austria, is also a complete success for Peter Riedel GmbH. The newly installed porcelaine studs have proven themselves—as expected—excellently.
'Nothing beats this material,' commented ÖSV head coach Alexander Pointner on the innovations at the normal hill in Hinzenbach, where the FIS Summer Grand Prix will also stop at the end of September. In conversation with company CEO Peter Riedel, Pointner was equally impressed and excited: 'Especially in heat, optimal gliding properties are important.' 'But the porcelain also ensures the same conditions, summer and winter,' added Riedel.
The hill operators of UVB Hinzenbach were, of course, delighted by the positive feedback from the ÖSV stars. 'We have a pioneering role with the world's most innovative takeoff track,' Bernhard Zauner told 'Kronen Zeitung,' Austria's widest-circulation newspaper. 'Nothing could be better for us than working with Peter Riedel,' said his colleague Franz Starzer. 'Thus we are always up-to-date!'
Martin Koch, Wolfgang Loitzl, Stefan Hayböck, Andi Kofler, Stefan Kraft and several others went over the take-off in Hinzenbach. Their verdict is summarized by Kofler: 'On porcelain the ski control has become easier, the ski no longer buckles.' A positive side effect: on a new surface the takeoff speed has thus increased. And the newly installed irrigation system for the approach track also works flawlessly.
As mentioned: The ÖSV skiers’ training course also made Peter Riedel cheer!
