In recent months I have traveled to a variety of countries. I had the opportunity to meet land and people, gather many impressions, and experience the beauty and, at the same time, peculiarities of foreign cultures.
In recent months I traveled to many countries. I had the chance to get to know the land and its people, gain many impressions, and experience the beauty and the quirks of foreign cultures. Back in my hometown Tellerhäuser, however, I became aware of how beautiful our Ore Mountains are. No matter how exciting and beautiful the wide world is, home is the nicest. The deep snow-covered Ore Mountains, with the small and large Fichtelberg in the middle, the Sachsenbaude and the highest town in Germany, Oberwiesenthal. These days my homeland shines as a unique winter wonderland especially beautifully. Time to pause and appreciate the wonderful place we get to live. This film is my very personal ode to my Ore Mountains.
