Dear employees, partners, friends and athletes – THANK YOU!

The time when it is really appropriate to say thank you is back. And I don’t mean only the Christmas and year-end season, but in our industry especially the winter season. The ski jumping season is in full swing and soon the two highlights of the year, the Four Hills Tournament and the Ski Flying World Championship at Kulm, will be upon us.

These two highlights bring me to my first thank you - to SC Partenkirchen and to the organizers of the World Championship at Kulm. For your trust in me, my employees and our product and for your interest in something new and in innovations. It honors and pleases me to be able to outfit two such outstanding hills (in Partenkirchen now already the second) with our latest tracks.

We take the demand for safer and more innovative tracks into account and have thus implemented a product change in production. Aware that progress and safety will become increasingly important in the future, we now completely rely on our own developments. What becomes even more important for us as a medium-sized company is to protect against idea theft and counterfeit products. Jobs depend on our performance being appropriately appreciated. Unfortunately there are current developments that focus on exactly this topic, and I would like to thank the affected clubs who cooperate with us here, value our performance and respect the value of our developments. Because what I definitely do not want is to hinder or hinder the important Nachwuchsarbeit (youth development) in Germany just because there are designers who do not adhere to fair competition. Those who know me and my company know how much we care about the development of ski sports – and that will always be a priority.

But enough of that. It should be noted that 2015 was a positive, motivating year. We commissioned the world’s first indoor ramp in Lucerne, developed new, high-quality and at the same time affordable junior tracks, and are at a development stage that is innovative and globally unique.

We will also continue with this in the coming year – and I am looking forward to it!
