CHAUX-NEUVE: After Hinzenbach and Berchtesgaden, this week the third fully equipped with Peter Riedel GmbH systems ski jumping site is being established in the French Chaux-Neuve. Since the K106 has already been equipped with the high-quality World Cup approach lane system since the 2009/2010 season, the organizers decided to this summer also to equip the small hills with Peter Riedel GmbH club lanes.
The team is especially looking forward to the conversion of the K60 in the next three weeks: The hill will receive the first cooled club lane from the Riedel house. This means the lane specially developed for clubs and junior hills can be used in winter with cooling for the first time – a new milling system and lifelong warranty on the stainless steel lane elements are included with the Erzgebirge equipment team.
In the future, the K60 is to be used mainly for the Alpine Cup – no wonder Alpine Cup coordinator Jürgen Winkler is full of praise: 'I am very pleased that the hill is finally getting an upgrade – thus fair conditions are guaranteed throughout the competition.'
