RASCHAU, January 14, 2013 – With victories by the Japanese Shun Yamamoto and the Austria Team I (Lukas Greiderer/Marco Pichlmayer), the first Continental Cup (COC) competitions ended this weekend in Tchaikovsky, in beautiful but bitterly cold weather with temperatures well below minus 25 degrees Celsius.
“The HS140 ski jump facility, on which the jumps took place, was in pristine condition,” said Vitali Götz, an employee of Peter Riedel GmbH, who was on site to assist over the weekend. “We once again showed that our track system works at very low temperatures. Our Russian partners, as well as the athletes and teams, were certainly enthusiastic!”
