After this year the small hills in Chaux-Neuve were equipped with the Club Track from Peter Riedel GmbH; by mid-July they passed their first hard test.

A week before the French championships in Chaux-Neuve, the best French junior athletes fought for places on the hills. 'We had over 100 athletes here who were really happy to jump on a track as good as their idols,' says hill chief Jérôme Pagnier: 'It is an easy hill to jump on and our new summer track impressed the teams so much that three of them immediately decided to hold their training camps here.'

Even more impressive for the boss was that Vincent Descombes Sevoie, one of France's best ski jumpers, used the small HS60 hill for training a week later as well. 'He said the hill was ideal for his training and a few 'work jumps' — that really pleased us!'
