Kindervierschanzentournee: Peter Riedel GmbH withdraws as main sponsor
Hard to believe, but last year the Kindervierschanzentournee already celebrated its 20th anniversary! 20 years in which, through the commitment of coaches, clubs, parents, and those responsible, the fascination of ski jumping was brought closer to many children — and thus also several great careers started.
Hard to believe, but last year the Kindervierschanzentournee already celebrated its 20th anniversary! 20 years in which, through the commitment of coaches, clubs, parents, and those responsible, the fascination of ski jumping was brought closer to many children — and thus also several great careers started. Just like Michael Hayböck, Severin Freund (2000), Gregor Schlierenzauer, Markus Eisenbichler (2001), Stefan Kraft and Andreas Wellinger (2003) — all of them were already enthusiastically involved with the Kindervierschanzentournee and can look back on already notable careers. For seven years we were allowed to accompany them as main sponsor.
Reason enough for us to look back and take stock as well. "The Nachwuchsbereich (youth development) is the foundation for the future. When you look at the well-known former participants of the Children’s Vierchanzentournee, you see that it pays to invest properly in youth. I am proud to have been the main sponsor of the Kindervierschanzentournee for the last seven years. Seven years in which a lot of passion, organizational talent, and financial resources have flowed into ski jumping Nachwuchs from all sides. I would like to sincerely thank all organizing clubs, associations, and staff for the good cooperation," said Peter Riedel, CEO of Peter Riedel GmbH.
"However, we as a company have now reached a point where we will revise and realign our sponsorship strategies in the future. Therefore we are withdrawing as main sponsor of the Kindervierschanzentournee. We will continue to support the ski jumping Nachwuchs in a sustainable way. Even now more energy and resources are flowing into the further development of our launching track systems, in order to achieve one thing above all: to offer clubs and associations access to qualitatively high-quality, but above all AFFORDABLE solutions for the Nachwuchs! Because a perfect training infrastructure for Nachwuchs is, in my opinion, the foundation for later success, and so that many more children can continue to experience the joy of ski jumping."
