RASCHAU/ALLENDORF – 20.03.2014 After the winter sports season and the undisputed winter highlight in Sochi, the German winter athletes will be officially welcomed on April 5 at DSV partner Viessmann in Allendorf. The two Olympic champions Eric Frenzel and Andreas Wank or medalists like Björn Kircheisen and Johannes Rydzek belong not only to the successful Viessmann team, but the experienced ski jumpers and Nordic combined athletes also know best what it feels like to jump from a hill.

For others this feeling is uncharted territory. A frontier Viessmann now makes tangible at its reception in cooperation with Peter Riedel GmbH. Athletes and guests in Allendorf will for the first time have the opportunity to experience this unique jump sensation from the hill. In a hangar on Viessmann's premises, Peter Riedel GmbH will assemble its K4 jump on April 5, 2014 from 5 p.m., giving guests on site the chance to practice the takeoff themselves. Who knows, perhaps luge Olympic champion Felix Loch will discover a new sport for himself—or the retiring biathlon national coach Uwe Müssiggang will attempt one last big leap? The list of Viessmann guests that day is mixed. But the K4 jump is intended not only to entertain this illustrious audience but, above all, to serve sport.

“I am incredibly happy that this collaboration with Viessmann has come about,” says managing director Peter Riedel. “It is important to us that in our partnerships, we primarily advance the sport, so it is very important to me personally that such collaborations are based on a mutual interest in sport.
