Our next project takes us again up to the high north. More precisely, right next to the famous Holmenkollen.

Just before the first snow covers the mountains, we spent the past week high above Oslo to implement our next track project: a new Clubtrack approach lane for the K20 hill at Midtstubakken.

The Holmenkollen ski jump in Oslo has long since developed into the international flagship of the ski jumping scene thanks to its special architecture and spectacular location. We were allowed to equip the “Grand Dame” of winter sports with our Mastertrack lane as early as 2017.

Less well known is its “little brother” Midstubakken. Just a few meters beside Holmenkollen, Oslo’s landmark, the winter sports facility Midtstuen offers young athletes perfect training conditions and has developed in recent years into a valuable training center for the Norwegian Ski Federation.

Exactly there our current assignment leads us. For us, Midtstuen is anything but unknown: Two years ago we realized there, as part of our first Spur-Upcycling project, a starting lane on the normal hill HS 106. The old lane from Trondheim was revitalized and re-used at Midtstubakken.

After renovating the two smaller hills (2022 and 2023) with a Hillsize of 44 and 66 meters, the K20 hill now follows. It is the penultimate and also the fourth hill that we were allowed to outfit with our Clubtrack lane at Midtsubakken. In less than four days, the project was completed, even the adverse weather conditions could not affect my team! A big thank you Oslo!
