Yesterday Tuesday the Ring Kino Schwarzenberg hosted the second showing before 200 visitors. “Jump - the most beautiful ski jumping hills in the world” The visitors were able to see beautiful footage of selected ski jumping hills, which in this kind had only been shown on a large screen for the second time.
The organizer Peter Riedel smiled with joy after the successful second event: “We have entered completely new ground with the film project. We shot the material in the last years on the hills where we laid our take-off tracks. I am glad and proud that both screenings were so well attended. In total, we were able to present unique images to almost 450 people and thus show the sport of ski jumping in a light never seen before. Many people from the region did not even know that besides my locksmithing and the construction company I also do completely different things,” grinned Peter Riedel after the event.
In addition to Peter Riedel, other protagonists significantly contributed to “Jump.” Among them filmmaker Aris Bibudis, who is behind the footage. The native Chemnitz resident travels worldwide on behalf of various productions and is always on the hunt for perfect images. Through impressive camerawork and perspectives, he gives the film a very special touch.
The evening was rounded off again by Michael Drevenstedt. Drevenstedt usually works as a sports presenter for MDR, but this time he swapped the camera for the cinema stage. With his expertise he gave the audience further interesting insights behind the scenes of the film project and the protagonists.
After the Nordic combined World Cup opener at the end of November, where Peter Riedel GmbH is responsible for supervising the run-up track, the entrepreneur from Tellerhäuser already plans another film screening for January 2019.
