As the saying goes, May brings all things new. After the new approach track installed by Peter Riedel Sports Technology in Bischofshofen, here are the latest news from the final venue of the Four Hills Tournament in Pongau. The president of SC Bischofshofen, Johann Pichler, is now taking over from Michael Maurer as the new president of the Four Hills Tournament. Pichler was elected to the office during the spring meeting by the chairs of the partner clubs. Johann Pichler succeeds Michael Maurer from SC Partenkirchen, who held the office for the last three years. Thus, the prestigious tournament has for the first time a president from SC Bischofshofen. In connection with this, the office also moves from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Bischofshofen.

Pichler has been managing director or executive president of SC Bischofshofen for 18 years. As head of the organization committee for the tournament final and with a total of 21 years as a jump judge and technical delegate at the FIS, Pichler brings a great deal of experience to his new role.

We wish him all the best for this new challenge. As a motivational boost and small gift, Peter Riedel Sports Technology produced a video about the construction phase of the new track in Bischofshofen.
