Higher, further, Kulm!

Danke Kulm, danke Bad Mitterndorf! Es ist für uns jedes Mal etwas ganz Besonderes, beim Skifliegen am Kulm für die Betreuung der Anlaufspur verantwortlich zu sein. Man kann schon von einer kleinen Tradition sprechen, denn seit 2017 ist unser Unternehmen fixer Bestandteil dieser Großveranstaltung, die alle zwei Jahre am Kulm ausgetragen wird. Auch dieses Mal sind wir dankbar, dass wir unseren Beitrag zu einem rundum gelungenen Wettkampf leisten durften.

Despite exceptionally high temperatures of up to 15 degrees, the quality of our start ramp and our work once again proved itself: the ramp performed without issues over the entire weekend, the compact and stable ice stood up to the conditions and provided athletes with optimal conditions for long flights.

A key factor was the excellent teamwork between the onsite ramp team and our own staff. Two men were on Kulm duty from a week ago until yesterday and ensured smooth operation with their expertise.

There was also a lot of official recognition: the hill chief Markus Zandl spoke positively about the collaboration and thanked us for the professional effort. Such feedback pleases us especially and confirms our consistent quality work.

Kulm is and remains something very special to us. In addition to its sporting significance, the event impresses every time with genuine hospitality and professional organization. We feel almost at home every time! A highlight for us this year was the premiere of the Nordic combined athletes, who for the first time started at Kulm on Friday. With impressive, far jumps they provided great action and stood on par with the ski jumpers – a strong sign for the development of this discipline.
