Spectacular finale of the international children's four-hens tour
David Gruber and his club, SC Bischofshofen, were the big winners of the closing jump of this year's international children's four-hens tour on the past Saturday in Berchtesgaden. In the K8 class, David achieved his fourth win in the fourth jump and thus accomplished what only Sven Hannawald had managed among the “greats” so far.

In the K8 class, David took his fourth win in the fourth jump and thus achieved what in the “greats” has so far only been accomplished by Sven Hannawald. The overall club ranking was won by SV Bischofshofen (AUT) with 1409 points, clearly ahead of WSV Oberaudorf (GER) with 1218 points and SV Schwarzbach (AUT) with 909 points. The Bischofshofen clubs could also look forward to the cheque worth 1000 euros for the club treasury, presented to them by Peter Riedel, managing director of Peter Riedel GmbH.
“The international children’s four-hens tour is simply a wonderful thing,” enthuses Peter Riedel. “Thanks to perfect organization, the junior jumpers can rely on excellent competition conditions at all four events and can fully concentrate on their own performance. The young jumpers are completely focused and deliver exciting competitions.”
It is already certain that Peter Riedel GmbH will again be a principal sponsor for the tour next year.
In addition to David Gruber, Katharina Gruber (UVB Hinzenbach, AUT, – girls I), Nikolai Holzer (WSV Oberaudorf, GER, – boys K7) and Tymoteusz Cienciala (WSS Wisla, POL, – boys K9) all won all four jumps in their age groups. A total of 25 teams from Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland and Slovenia took part in the four jumps in Hinzenbach, Bischofshofen, Reit im Winkl and Berchtesgaden.
