What do Kulm winners Andreas Stjernen from Norway, tour winner Kamil Stoch from Poland, and Simon Willibald from SC Partenkirchen have in common? They are all ski jumpers, and all of them benefit from Peter Riedel's exceptional development work. His track systems are not reserved for the world elite alone, but basically available to everyone.
'As an entrepreneur, I am very pleased that our developed and patented technology is in use at over 55 hill complexes worldwide and helps ensure a safe and fair course of the jumps at major events,' says Peter Riedel. 'As a sport and ski jumping enthusiast, it has always been important to me to make the track systems accessible to everyone. Over the past months my team and I have developed the 'Clubtrack', which offers first-class take-off quality for clubs and youth jumps.'
The Clubtrack is available in winter, summer, or combination track versions, based on the Cup-World Cup track system from Riedel, and is assembled in a self-build system. This keeps costs reasonable as well.
In fewer than ten steps, the take-off track made of specialty plastic with high-quality studs can be installed on the hill. Longevity and durability, minimal maintenance argue for the 'product for all' from Peter Riedel GmbH, which is why a five-year warranty (from manufacture date) on the product's shape stability is offered. 'The assembly of the track is absolutely simple,' emphasizes Peter Riedel. 'Even assembling a wardrobe or any chair from well-known furniture stores is more difficult.'
The successful market launch recently took place at the SC Partenkirchen facilities, bringing us back to Simon Willibald: He inaugurated the new 'Clubtrack' at K20. The track was assembled by SCP members and helpers themselves.
'It should be obvious that the next generation trains on tracks of equally high quality as the world elite,' muses Peter Riedel, 'because for them it is not about World Cup points, but about much more – the fun of jumping and learning the correct technique. For that you need the best coaches and the best equipment. Therefore, Peter Riedel Sports Technology aims to support clubs in their youth development and offer affordable, high-quality track-system solutions. I am happy that we have successfully taken this step.'
The new Clubtrack can be ordered from February at www.peter-riedel.info.
