FIS awards the opening event of the Summer Grand Prix again to Oberwiesenthal

ZÜRICH – The International Ski Federation FIS today announced at its meeting in Zurich that Oberwiesenthal will again host the opening of the Summer Grand Prix of Nordic Combined. The kick-off of the summer series has been set for August 18–20, 2017.

In the run-up to the scheduling, organizers were personally thanked for their commitment and professional execution of this year's Summer Grand Prix. Oberwiesenthal not only logged the most spectators but also delivered an event at the highest level, which was not hampered by the logistical challenges after the lift dismantling.
