RASCHAU, December 19, 2012 – The successful year 2012 for Peter Riedel GmbH ends with very encouraging news from the Russian Nischny Tagil. In the 290-year-old city behind the Ural Mountains, a K120 ski jump facility was completed in recent weeks and has just gone into operation.

“That is a record-building time,” cheered up by company owner Peter Riedel. “For installing the approach-path system our experts didn’t even take four weeks. This leaves nothing but the Continental Cup on the large hill in Swertlowsker region in March.”

Due to administrative challenges, construction had been repeatedly delayed, and it seemed to depend on the weather conditions how the Peter Riedel GmbH workers would progress. Yet the concerns at the company headquarters proved unfounded. The new design system at Ski-Line proves itself even at low temperatures, reported Nischny Tagil. “Minus 27 degrees Celsius are not a problem for our products,” says Peter Riedel. (And just to remind: plus 26 degrees Celsius, measured in Hinzenbach/Austria, is not either.)

Currently, with the help of skilled workers from Oberwiesenthal and the use of state-of-the-art PistenBully equipment, the take-off hill is being prepared, as the first national competitions are already scheduled for January 2013. “By the end of January the K90 hill will also be completed with the newly developed measurement technology from our house,” adds Riedel. “And then the second federal-level ski jumping high-performance center of Russia will be completed. We are proud and happy to have played a part in the first one in Tchaikovsky, about 600 kilometers from Nischny Tagil. Our Russian friends’ trust is greatly appreciated, and you will not be disappointed!”

The year 2013 also begins under the banner of Peter Riedel GmbH. At the New Year’s Jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the jumpers take off on a Ski-Line take-off rail!
