Now the time has come. My father Eberhard Riedel has begun his final journey and, after today’s farewell and burial, has found his final rest.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for the countless condolences and signs of sympathy.
From near and far, from the world of sport and beyond, many personal words, memories and gestures have reached us. This great connection has moved us deeply and shows how many people “Ebs” has reached and shaped in his life.
A large alpine athlete’s heart from the Fichtelberg has stopped beating and found its final rest. With his athletic achievements, but above all with his personality, Eberhard will remain in the memory of many people.
Thank you for your sympathy, your appreciation and the compassion during this difficult time.
He lives on in our hearts and minds and has found his peace after a fulfilling life.
