Schanzenanlage in Ruhla
The ski jumping facility in Ruhla has a long tradition in the sport and has been an important site for winter sports in Thuringia for decades. Today, the Alte Ruhl is mainly used for training and competition operations as well as for Nachwuchsarbeit (youth development). The Hans-Heß-Schanze is one of the central hills of the facility.

A particular advantage of the Clubtrack system is also evident in this project in Ruhla: Peter Riedel Sports Technology provides the complete track, and assembly on site can subsequently be carried out by the club and its own staff - as is also the case here in Ruhla.

This allows for uncomplicated installation with comparatively low organizational and personnel effort. Especially for smaller clubs and hill complexes this is an important advantage. The system is designed so that clubs can take as much into their own hands as possible during implementation. A practical solution that shows how flexibly the system can be used.

Home hill of Juliane Seyfarth

Ruhla is not just any site. The Alte Ruhl is closely linked to the history of Thuringian ski jumping and is also the home hill of Juliane Seyfarth. The successful German ski jumper competes for TSG Ruhla and thus exemplifies the sporting importance of the location.

There is also support from the municipality for the further development of the ski jumping facility. Ruhla's mayor has pledged his support for the project, sending an important signal for the future of ski jumping and youth development in Ruhla.

For us, it is especially gratifying to contribute to the modernization of the Hans-Heß-Schanze with the new Clubtrack lane. A functioning sports infrastructure is the foundation for young athletes to find optimal conditions—from their first jump to progressing into elite sport.
