Chapeau Team Austria!

What a Four Hills Tournament! Never in the history of the tournament has a nation been as dominant as the Austrians this year. From the first jump on, the team led by head coach Andi Widhölzl was ready at one hundred percent. The mix of experienced athletes and young, promising talents proved to be gold; the red-white-red eagles spurred each other to new heights. For the first time since Stefan Kraft in 2015, an Austrian stands on top again after ten years - congratulations Daniel Tschofenig!

I’m thrilled for the Austrian team, especially because the athletes are all wonderful personalities. Despite their fame, they have stayed grounded and are approachable and friendly. My disappointment that I couldn’t be there live this year due to my knee surgery is therefore all the greater. But you can be sure I followed every minute live on the TV.

At the same time, we at Peter Riedel GmbH are extremely proud that three of the four tour stops are equipped with our Master Track approach track, thus contributing a small part to the success of this great product. In such a major competition program, it is mandatory to ensure fair conditions from the first to the last jumper – with our patented technology, that is exactly possible.

And with the test facility in Ramsau am Dachstein, which we have been running together with the Austrian Ski Association for ten years, we could hopefully also make a small sporting contribution to the success of the red-white-red eagles!

Keep it up Ski Austria Ski Jumping, you are truly unique!

Kind regards,

Peter Riedel
