Yesterday, Sunday, the Austrian championships in ski jumping and Nordic combined took place in Saalfelden. Many people are surely wondering why I’m posting this here.
Many are probably wondering why I’m posting this here. The answer is simple: yesterday was a very special day for the town of Saalfelden as well as for me.
Almost exactly a year ago, the new ramp in Saalfelden was completed and I had the privilege to be a part of it. We supplied our proven Mastertrack track for it, and to date it has proven itself mainly in training and for youth in that location.
Some national cups and Austrian cups have been held so far, but a test run with the ‘professionals’ was still pending. Yesterday, Sunday, it finally happened: the ramp was tested by the stars of the scene in competition during the national championships. The feedback was really positive and it’s wonderful to see a project run so smoothly again.
I extend my congratulations to the Austrian champions from afar and am very happy for you!
