ARTICLE TEXT – BERCHTESGADEN – Earlier than expected, on yesterday’s Tuesday after only two days of installation time, the K90 in Berchtesgaden was equipped with the Clubtracks system from Peter Riedel GmbH. With the K90, the Erzgebirge team not only equipped the site’s fifth and thus final hill, but also the first Club Track hill that corresponds to the FIS norms for normal hills.
The equipment with the new, innovative high-speed studs of the Clubtracks meets a new wooden substructure from a local carpentry firm – a perfect symbiosis for a high-quality take-off feel. Its first test will be the new hill for international ski jumping on August 19, with the Deutschlandpokal on September 3 and 4. Earlier, the Austrian Ski Association’s national team will test the Berchtesgaden hill at invitation from Peter Riedel.
At the same time as Berchtesgaden, the hill in Scheibenberg, Saxony, was completed. By the end of August the hill will be jumped on – Mayor Michael Staib and club chairman Bernd Fischer were pleased with the completion to present the youth with a qualitatively high-quality and durable hill.
