Assignments from home especially motivate!

These are already difficult times we live in. We must stay at home, not see friends and family - let alone travel abroad. We are incredibly grateful that we still have enough orders and can pursue our passion, steel construction, and it gives us a positive outlook. We appreciate even more that the orders come from home and from old sports friends!

And from an industry that is not easy right now either. The hotel industry. In mid-November I had the opportunity to execute a large steel construction project for Jens Weissflog and his hotel in Oberwiesenthal. For the renovation of the outbuilding and for an extension in which twelve more rooms are to be created, the entire steel work had to be carried out. After an intensive work week the project was completed without complications and to the satisfaction of the client, as he personally attested afterward.

“Thanks for the on-time delivery and installation. The workmanship is really top-notch and it is nice to see that you can be relied on even in difficult times. Thanks for the commitment and the perfect planning,” said Jens when I was able to hand him a handmade fire bowl in the 4-Schanzen-Tournee design as a thank-you for his trust.

For our company it was another large steel construction order in the region. You can imagine we are mighty proud! Another project as a holistic steel construction company. And many more will follow, stay tuned!

Jens in any case earns my greatest respect. He has become a top hoteliers, his hotel is one of the best addresses in Oberwiesenthal. And despite the hotels being closed, lack of income, and an uncertain future, he proceeds with expansion and invests in the future and in the homeland. That shows a healthy portion of optimism and courage, which is most needed right now. All I can say is “Thank you Jens for your trust!” Sport unites. And in such hard times, as we are experiencing now, probably even more so.
